Fort Wildflower Playground, the central part of Heritage Park.

Volunteering

Volunteering is fun and exciting. Come join your friends and family as we build the Fort Wildflower Playground together! Not sure how you can help? No problem. It takes a lot of helping hands to build this Playground and we have lots of ways you can help.

Construction week

The week of construction* we will build the entire playground. During that time we will need:
  • Captains: Able to work all day, every day
  • Skilled workers: able to cut a straight line with a circular saw
  • Unskilled workers
  • Sanding/shoveling
  • Carpentry
  • Check out and in tools and supplies
  • Volunteer check-in table
  • Child Care
  • Food Preparation
  • Art Tent
  • Site clean-up following construction week
  • Donate food and/or tools

Volunteer Groups

Create a volunteer group with:
  • Your neighbors
  • Your athletic team
  • Your bicycle club
  • Your employees
  • Your Sunday school class
  • Your Women’s Club
